Amelia Gentleman of the Guardian is a multi award winning journalist. In December 2018, Amelia was named "Journalist of the Year" by the Press Gazette. Her second award that month; the first coming from The Guardian.

Her seminal work on the plight of the Windrush Generation changed Government policy and the result precipitated the resignation of Home Secretary Amber Rudd. Amelia's reports raised public attention to the plight of voiceless Caribbean immigrants who were illegally deported, or denied their rights in the UK. 

She will be in conversation with Helen Boaden, former Director of News at The BBC, and subsequently
Director of BBC Radio.
