Peter has just retired after a lifetime as anchor for flagship news programmes such as ITV's News At One, BBC1 bulletins, and Channel 4 News(which he helped launch).
Join him in his walk down video memory lane with recently retired Ariel Editor, Andrew Harvey. Under the editorship of Harvey and brought in by former director general Greg Dyke in 2001, Ariel has provided an outlet for staff to criticise BBC management and policies via its editorial and letters pages.
