Adam Boulton in conversation with Kate McCann

This will be the Media Society's first in-person event since Covid started.
It's on Thursday March 31st at 6.30pm at:
The University Women's Club in London, W1.

The ‘1 on 1’ conversation will be between the former Sky News Political Editor Adam Boulton and the political journalist Kate McCann.

Adam has held a pivotal position at the apex of British news broadcasting for more than 30 years. When Murdoch sent shockwaves through the industry in 1989 by launching Britain's first 24-hour news channel, Adam was one of his first appointments.

He brought authority to the station from day one. Since then, his career has included:

• Interviewing every significant UK politician and most US Presidents for more than 30 years.

• Presenting one of the first ever leaders election debates - in 2010.

• And hosting a political interview TV programme for longer than any other UK broadcaster.

Adam is fearless in speaking truth to power (Boris Johnson famously swore at him while the cameras were on).

And he is infamous for his onscreen dust-ups - including confrontations with Alastair Campbell, Gordon Brown and Conrad Black.

Kate McCann, another stand-out political journalist at Westminster, will interview Adam for the event.
One of only 2 women in 200 years to be elected chair of the Press Gallery, Kate has held senior positions at the Daily Telegraph, the Sun and Sky News and is just starting a new job as Political Editor of Talk TV.

Those attending this Media Society event will get a chance to put questions directly to Adam.
And Kate!
