As a regular presenter of the BBC’s News At Ten and as an award-winning correspondent , Clive Myrie has become one of the most recognisable faces on British television.

Many will remember his recent reports from Royal London Hospital with the staff struggling to cope with the height of the pandemic. His finely judged interviews with the morticians nurses and doctors on the Covid frontline have been harrowing but essential viewing.

As a foreign correspondent, Clive reported from Tokyo, Los Angeles and Brussels and covered the wars in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Tonight,  in conversation with journalist and broadcaster Phil Harding, Clive talks about his career, reporting on conflicts, about black lives on television and about covering the pandemic.

Our interviewer for the evening:

Phil Harding, former Editor of the BBC Today programme and Chief Political Advisor to the Corporation.
