Michael has been a BBC TV political reporter and documentary-maker for fifty years, and has filmed all of the past ten Prime Ministers.

As Michael put it in a quote for the Media Society monthly Newsletter:
"Our political leaders spend their careers spinning their images and polishing their achievements. I've spent mine trying to coax them into candour and reveal what they are really like behind the mask."
