Autumn Winter ‘25 Season

We have a busy schedule for the Media Society Autumn/Winter Season.

The line-up includes an in-person debate on Migration and the Media on Monday 22nd September, a discussion on Gaza and Journalism in October, the Steve Hewlett Lecture with Channel 4's Matt Frei on Wednesday 22nd October, an update on AI and the Media in November, the Society's AGM on 25th November, and the Media Society Christmas Drinks in December.

We'll also have our first Media Society on Tour event, with a debate about the Future of Journalism at Durham University on 14th November.

Events continue to be at the core of what we do as a Society. We are pleased that, earlier this year, the 2025 Spring/Summer Season had a series of high-profile discussion events, including Trump and the Media, the Rise of Newsletters, the Future of X and Social Media, and the Media and Climate Change.

Two of the events were in-person at The Conduit in Covent Garden - and were sold out. And two were online. All our events can now be viewed on the Media Society YouTube Channel.
